Soon, the domestic currency extended its gains and traded on a strong note fot the rest of the trading hour.

Finally, the Indian rupee ended at days high at 62.15,up 36 paise, against the US dollar.

Meanwhile, the rupee November futures opened unchanged at 62.50 from its previous close at 62.49 as its expiry today.

Further, the domestic currency extended its gains and touched a high of 62.27.

Finally, the spot rupee ended at 62.34, up 15 paise, against the US dollar.

The counter witnessed trades of around 4,35,562 contracts, while, the open interest decreased nearly 55 per cent, on the NSE.
